Diane Gardnier has generously donated this stunning artwork which will be auctioned at 3:30pm at Willows Reach, 252 Boord Cres, Kumeu, Auckland. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Kumeu Rotary for disbursement to West Auckland Hospice and Huapi Volunteer Fire Station.  You can help support these charities by coming to Kumeu Art in the Garden and bidding on this fantastic artwork on Sunday 8th November 2009.

ARTIST PROFILE:
Diane Gardiner has been painting for approximately 10 years, with most of her woks being sold locally and on the internet. As a member of the Mairangi Bay Arts Centre, Diane has won several awards, including Best Upcoming Artist and 3rd in the Sam McGready Rose painting competition.

She has exhibited many times in the North Shore City Art Awards and Waitakere Art Awards.  Diane studied Wildlife Painting under the guidance of esteemed wildlife artist, Piers Heyman. In 2007 her sepia painting of a monarch butterfly featured in the NZ Artfind calendar.

Diane received an Arts Grant in 2007 and this enabled her to pursue her love of art fulltime. Her preferred mediums are Oils and Acrylic, often combining both in a piece.
