We have to try to create spaces where we can be different with all uniqueness and be happy with who we are. NZ has to take a lead in this

Michael Sass
Michael draws landscape realism in pastel. He has a unique drawing method with pastels, preferring to produce much larger artworks than the small artworks this medium is usually associated with. He has exhibited at numerous exhibitions in New Zealand and won many awards. He is also a qualified picture framer which has enabled him to develop a unique method of framing pastels as diptychs and triptychs.

Cynthia McKenzie
I have been drawing and painting for about 10 years. I am very enthusiastic about pastels their freshness, colour range and compatibility with my style. I am a member of the Depot, Estuary Arts, the Mairangi Art Centre and the NZ Pastel Art Society. I have exhibited with these galleries, at the Royal Easter Show, at Northcote College and Carmel College. I work as a librarian and editor so pastel painting fills my leisure hours but it is a passion and a pleasure

A passion for Pen & Ink drawing sets Zenobia apart in the New Zealand Art Scene. Her drawing style is inspired largely by children’s book illustrations, Impressionist art, and the traditional Ink Wash technique that originated in Eastern Asia.
