Judith Rosamund

Judith Rosamund has generously donated this stunning artwork which will be auctioned at 3:30pm at Willows Reach, 252 Boord Cres, Kumeu, Auckland. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Kumeu Rotary for disbursement to West Auckland Hospice and Huapi Volunteer Fire Station.  You can help support these charities by coming to Kumeu Art in the Garden and bidding on this fantastic artwork on Sunday 8th November 2009.

ARTIST PROFILE: 
Initially trained in Microbiology, Judith returned to her original love of art over 20 years ago, establishing a ceramic tile making business. Over the years this has grown to include working with glass, jewellery, printmaking and sculpture. Much of her work is commissioned and includes a number of public artworks. 

“I find it immensely satisfying to make beautiful things that are also functional; using art to nourish us in our everyday lives. As a passionate gardener I draw much inspiration and delight from the vibrant colours, textures, form and life I find in my garden.”
