Miranda Jane Caird

Miranda Jane Caird  has generously donated this stunning artwork which will be auctioned at 3:30pm at Willows Reach, 252 Boord Cres, Kumeu, Auckland. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Kumeu Rotary for disbursement to West Auckland Hospice and Huapi Volunteer Fire Station.  You can help support these charities by coming to Kumeu Art in the Garden and bidding on this fantastic artwork on Sunday 8th November 2009.

ARTIST PROFILE:
Miranda majored in Art at Wellington Teacher's College (1992) and began painting as a career in 2003. She entered 3 awards around that time and was a finalist in each of them. Miranda can easily be described as prolific, having sold over 400 works and her paintings have found their way around the world. In June 09, Miranda appeared on "Tabi Salad", in Japan, which screened to an audience of 8 million viewers. The filming had been done on location at her studio in Whale Bay, Raglan. Miranda sells work directly from her studio and it is best to phone first to ensure she will be home.
