ROBYN ROBERTSON Robyn Robertson is based in Avondale, Auckland. Her life changed dramatically 28 years ago when she was working as a fashion designer in Australia and discovered God was real and could be know by her. After years of creating wearable art and one off women's garments she turned to painting. Her inspiration is God and the ideas he gives her. "I enjoy using fabric, embellishments, string, plastic etc to express, as best I can, what I think God is saying. |

Shelly Van Soest Shelly van Soest describes her work as 'stylised' as she likes to simplify her subject matter in order to focus on textures, layers and colours. She likes to include details and objects that she considers to be beautiful. She is fascinated by natural divisions, linear lines and mankind's influence on the land. "Creation is necessary for the good of my soul - I would be lost without it"

Cheryl Irwin The two main aspects of my work are sculptural and colour. I use water colours for their luminosity and coat them with a UV filtered acrylic laminate. The more I paint in the moment, the more joy and peace I feel and it seems to me that my feelings of well-being get embedded in the art itself. |

Sue McPhee I enjoy creating contemporary, mixed media work using colour, texture and images to capture the essence of our unique New Zealand environment. My work incorporates both geographical and historical references, text with the use of newspaper and a variety of surface treatments, which all help to evoke impressions of a place or time. Paintings often evolve, taking their own pathway and I gain much pleasure from the creative process involved in bringing them to life.

Caroline Viesnik - Artist I have been inspired by my experiences and impressions as a make-up artist and body painter to re-invent the photographic images of my models by integrating them into my paintings. I then create new scenarios where the image takes the viewer on a journey into a dream-like world of imagery and fantasy. |

Veronica Young A mnemonic object is a treasure that encapsulates a precious memory. It is a safe keeper, a repository for moments and emotions that are too dear to store only within the fragile, ephemeral mind. Do these memories linger on when the one who bestowed them and the object are parted? My work explores the mysteries of other people's memories using photographic and mixed media techniques. |

Kylie Law I create mixed media work from my home - Wellington, New Zealand. I’ve been continually developing my own personal style and have now settled on combining my love of colours and textures into a mixed-media style that incorporates many techniques and a variety of materials. Much of my work is based upon themes relating to juggling the priorities of a busy working household. Also influencing my work is my love and passion for my nest; my family and my home. |
