“In October 2008 the New Zealand Society, England held an auction of New Zealand art in London to raise funds for the highly endangered New Zealand shore plover. The auction raised over £8,500 and Sophia was instrumental in co-ordinating the donation and the shipping of the art from New Zealand to be placed in the auction. Without her hard work and enthusiasm for the project we would not have been able to raise as much as we did. Thank you.”
