The NZ Art Guild has always been involved with Charity events ever since its formation in 2004 and in 2008 they are proud to have been able to extend their community involvement to include sponsorship of art events.

Charity Involvement
The NZ Art Guild are proud to be official sponsors of the Mental Health Foundation of NZ. In 2008, 88 artists joined together to create one artwork which was used to increase awareness of mental health issues. It was then auctioned off via Trademe to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation. This image was also used on posters and resources to promote the nationwide Mental Health Awareness Week Campaign in October 2008.

The NZ Art Guild welcomes sponsorship for events and in particular the NZ Art Guild Annual Art Awards which is solely reliant on sponsorship.
